Strong wind on Weekend; Marine Warning Issued

The Peninsula -- Marine warning for two days starting tomorrow has been issued by Qatar Meteorology Department.

The warning stated that Southeasterly to Northeasterly wind ranging between 12-25kt reaching 35kt with thunder rain is expected on November 15 and 16.

During this time, the wave height is expected to range between 4-7ft rising to 9ft at times.

Wind is expected to turn to Northwesterly fresh to strong from Saturday, November 17 until mid next week with wind speed ranging between 12-22kt reaching 30kt and wave height between 4-7ft rising to 10ft at times.
