QIB Joins Asian Cup Celebrations with New Promotion for Loyal Customers

Gulf Times -- In celebration of Qatar’s historic win at the Asian Cup, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced that it will double customers’ Absher points on all transactions carried out until February 14.

QIB’s board of directors, executive management and all employees expressed their happiness at the incredible milestone achieved by Qatar’s national football team, winning the AFC Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history.

They have also extended warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and the people of Qatar on this achievement.

Absher points are reward points that customers can accumulate and then cash in for a variety of rewards offered by QIB.

Customers will earn double Absher points when they transfer their salaries, open fixed deposit accounts, use their QIB debit and credit cards, as well as the QIB Mobile App and Internet Banking.

Absher points will be instantly redeemable through the QIB Absher online portal (https://absher.qib.com.qa) where customers can choose to book their flight tickets from over 900 airlines, book a room from over 450,000 hotels and rent a car from more than 150,000 car rental offices in 150 cities worldwide, the bank has said in a statement.

They will also have access to the online shopping store, ‘infishop’, specialized in redeeming points with thousands of products across different categories, such as electronic items, books, sports and household items from leading brands.

Products will be home-delivered anywhere in Qatar.

The QIB Absher Rewards programme is not having any blackout dates or restrictions.

QIB customers can gain access, through an easy and simple registration process, to an online portal created specifically to view and redeem the points they have earned.

The redemption process is completely automated online.
